Falmouth week LIVE!

falmouth week

With thanks to our sponsors ...

Without the tireless effort of our committee members – both on water and on land – and the generosity of our sponsors, Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week simply would not happen. The six clubs and town regatta committee that make up the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association, and the Shoreside Committee, which comprises representatives from the major organisations in Falmouth, collaborate to ensure that Falmouth Week really does appeal to all ages and tastes.

The generosity of our sponsors provides us with the funds, prizes and in-kind support that make the whole event viable. This year, in addition to the return of Henri-Lloyd and Pendennis Shipyard as major sponsors, we welcome Audi as a platinum sponsor. Audi are bringing a fleet of Audi Q7s to Falmouth and are offering test-drives to potential customers. The test route starts at Events Square and takes people to Pendennis Point where Audi are sponsoring a demonstration of a Race Tracking system by Race-Trax.

Back at Events Square, Audi are sponsoring the screen and the filming of the live race action. We are very grateful to University College Falmouth for providing the film crew and editing facilities. Pendennis Shipyard is one of Falmouth’s premier employers and operates in the exclusive superyacht market.Since entering the market in 1988 with the contract to build the 125’ ketch Taramber, the yard has developed and maintained a reputation for building and refitting luxury motor and sailing yachts to the highest of standards – with the completion of work on vessels such as Adela, Fair Lady, and Rebecca.

Mike Carr, Joint Managing Director of Pendennis Shipyard says:

“Pendennis is proud to be supporting Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week. The excellent skills base, goodwill and support of the local community has been fundamental in turning Pendennis into an international success story.”

Pendennis are supporting activities on the water as well as funding the decoration of the town with hanging baskets.
